The Social Network

I had an early breakfast with a friend to ask for his advice on my startup idea. He studies social network startups as a business PhD student and has been working on his dissertation for several years. He was very excited about my idea and gave me a lot of pointers on what to do next, who to talk to for more advice, and overall encouragement on moving forward with the idea instead of being afraid of taking risks.

I have asked him for advice before, but not on a topic so close to his passions, so our conversation was very exciting for both of us.
